Rita Corrine Hallen

Hallen, Rita Corrine, 94, of Springfield, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 in Good Shepherd Village. She was born in Springfield on April 4, 1922 the daughter of Joseph and Ada (Lewe) Singer. She was a dietician at I.O.O.F. Home for many years. Survivors include her children, Louis Hallen, Linda (Marty Ogden, Sr.) Johnson and Diana (Chester) Duncan all of Springfield; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman in 1984 and her son, Timothy on January 2, 2016. Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Fr. Bill Kramer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
