Rita A. Wyen

Wyen, Rita A., 75, of Springfield died at 2:08 a.m. on November 12, 2013 in her residence. She was born in Springfield on July 7, 1938 the daughter of Patrick and Margaret (Maloney) Mooney. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Survivors include her husband, Frederick; seven children and spouses, Sharon "Shari" (Greg) Brock of Springfield, Debbie (Dave) Falkenbach of South Vienna, Karen (Mike) Meyer of Cincinnati, Frederick (Nancy) Wyen, Jr. of North Hampton, Theresa Ross of Springfield, Mary Ann (Mark) Hoying of Grosse Ile, Michigan and Joe Wyen of Sumter, South Carolina; 12 grandchildren; five siblings and spouses, Margie Kennedy of Mt. Kisco, New York, Mary (Stetson) Oster of Ocala, Florida, Helen Mooney of Muncy, Pennsylvania, Patty (Russ) Pamer of Springfield and Jim Mooney of Hudson, Florida. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Bill and Ed and her sister, Dorothy. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Ohio Valley Medical Center and Community Mercy Hospice. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and Community Mercy Hospice.
