Richard "Ricky" Travis, II

Travis II, Richard "Ricky" Eugene, 44, of Springfield, went to be with his heavenly father on April 9, 2015. Ricky was born in Springfield, OH on April 26, 1970 to Catherine Marie (Decker) Travis and Richard E. Travis. Ricky served in the United States Navy. Survivors in addition to his mother and father include a brother, Anthony Wayne "Tony" Travis; a sister, Rachel Ann Dornon and Michael Duncan; aunts and uncles, Robert and Barbara Decker, Martha Trimble, Angela Gray, Francine and Craig Goodyear; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special pet and loyal friend, Lola. Ricky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence Travis and Ella (Barnett) Travis; maternal grandparents, Francis J. and Anne Marie (Morrissey) Decker; and uncles, John F. Decker and Joseph N. Decker. Ricky touched many lives with his beautiful spirit and gave all that knew him the ability to see the excitement and joy that this world has to offer through his eyes. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Victory Ridge Dayton VA Hospice, Dayton, OH. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
