WARMAN, Richard K., 98, of Springfield, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 in Brookdale Buck Creek in Springfield. He was born July 24, 1919 in Portsmouth, OH the son of Gus and Chattie (Kirby) Warman. Richard was a Unites States Army Air Corp veteran having served in WW II. During the war, he flew 24 bomber missions in a B-24 over Europe while stationed in Italy. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base as an electrician after more than 30 years. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserves. Richard also retired from Pasco County City Schools after working in maintenance for 20 years. Survivors include one daughter and spouse, Kim (Pete) Sadlier; two grandchildren, Joe (Lindsey Lapp) Sadlier and Ashley (Derrick) Sadlier-Walling and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, his son, Keith Warman and daughter, Kandice Hicks. The family would like to express gratitude to the Brookdale Buck Creek staff for the consistent respect and compassion shown to Richard and his family during his stay. They'd also like to thank the Hospice of Miami Valley Nurses, Jennifer, Jordan, and Lisa for ensuring his journey home was a peaceful one.
