Richard J. Link

Link, Richard J., 93, of Springfield, died April 8, 2015 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born July 9, 1921 in Springfield, OH to Constantine and Catherine (Hellmuth) Link. Dick retired as President of Link-Hellmuth Reality after many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW 2, member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, a graduate of Catholic Central High School and The Ohio State University, a member of the Springfield Country Club, University Club, Rotary Club, Van Dyke Club and Polo Club. He was an avid fisherman, golfer and enjoyed playing cards with his friends. Survivors include his sister, Gloria (Link) Woeber; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins; and a dear friend, Lana Wright and her family. He was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine (Link) Smith, and a brother, Dr. Francis Link. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in St. Teresa Catholic Church with family receiving friends one hour prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the church. A private committal will be in St. Bernard Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Central School Foundation, St. Teresa Catholic Church, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
