Richard E. Stratton

Stratton, Richard E., 71, of Springfield, passed away January 1, 2018 at his residence. Rich was born on November 8, 1946 in New Holland, OH to Harold and Gladys (Rockwell) Stratton. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and was employed by Navistar for 36 years before retiring. Rich had a private and commercial pilot license and was instrument rated. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Susan M. (Malloy); two children, Chris (Aimee) Stratton of Amelia, OH and Aaron Stratton of Enon, OH; four grandchildren, Bailee, Delanie, Chelsi and Cierra; two siblings, Elizabeth (Evert) Meade of Columbus, OH and Tammy (Tim) Harshbarger of South Charleston; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 1:00pm-3:00pm on Sunday.
