Richard E. "Pete" Tordiff

Tordiff, Richard E. "Pete", 82, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 in Oakwood Village Nursing Home. Richard was born May 26, 1934 in Ironton, OH to Richard and Geraldine (Hall) Tordiff. He was a graduate of Springfield High School and retired from International Harvester after 33 years. Survivors include five daughters, Sharon (Dwane) Hill, Teresa Fiske, Kimberly (Jack) Evans, Janet (Tim) Gansheimer and Jill (Tim) Parker; Grandchildren, Dustin Hill, Tara (Klint) Cross, Mark Whitaker, Zachary Fiske, Richard Fiske, Natalie and Carly Evans, Steven and Jonathon Smith, Rachel, Leah and Lucy Parker; one great grandson, Hayden Cross; two sisters, Phyllis Dooley and Donna (Jim) Huffman; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona in 2008; and a sister, Patsy Nickell. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Curtis Miner officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior, beginning at noon in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
