Richard C. "Brumy" Brumfield

BRUMFIELD, Richard C. "Brumy", 77, of Springfield, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 in his residence. He was born February 13, 1937 in Circleville the son of Clyde and Gladys (McFarland) Brumfield. He had been employed as a stock chaser at Navistar for over 49 years, was a United States Marine Corp veteran having served in Lebanon from 1957 to 1958 and was a member of the V.F.W. #3660. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Kathy (Giffin); two children, Brenda & Thomas Scott, Springfield and Rick & Teresa Brumfield, Springfield; two grandsons, Tyler & Tailor Brumfield, Louisville, KY and Nathan (Michelle Post) Brumfield, Beavercreek and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Eleanor Kirk and LaVada Venrick. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Community-Mercy Hospice or the charity of your choice. The family is being served by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
