Hereford, Dawn "Renee" (Lookabaugh), 55, left this earth on August 23, 2013 in the residence of her brother and sister in law, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Renee, as she was known to family and friends, was born May 26, 1958 in Springfield, OH to Gerald R. Lookabaugh, Sr. and Joan (Chaffin) Lookabaugh Miller. She lived in Florida for 20 years and then moved back to be closer to family and friends. She was formerly employed with American Building Maintenance at Wittenberg University. Survivors include her son, Gary Lee Hereford and his dad, Gary Hereford of Troy, OH; a sister, Cheryl Williams; two brothers, Gary (Nikki) Lookabaugh and Barry (Barb) Lookabaugh of Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald (Marge) Lookabaugh, Sr., mother, Joan (Wayne) Miller, and a nephew, W. Shawn Williams in 2009. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Singh, Community Mercy Hospice, special friend, Carolyn Payne, and a special thanks to uncle and aunt, Bill and Sharon Chaffin and all who offered prayer and meals. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in First Christian Church with Dave Augustus officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
