Raymond R. Mammolite

MAMMOLITE, Raymond R., 85, of Springfield, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born August 8, 1930 in Springfield the son of Sebastian and Darina (Mandator) Mammolite. He was a 1948 graduate of Catholic Central High School, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #624 and was a United States Air Force veteran. He worked as a builder and general contractor for over 30 years. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Roberta Kay (Halley); one daughter, Lisa Rittenhouse (Brent Wilt), Springfield; sisters-in-law, Ivy Mammolite, Pat Barcelona and Juanita Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, one sister, Sara Montico and three brothers, Rudy Mammolite, Joe Barcelona and Tony Barcelona. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Catholic Central High School or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
