Ray Barker

BARKER, Ray, 90, of Springfield, OH, passed away on Tuesday, December 8th, 2020. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Donnie Ray Lake, James Daniel Barker, David Barker, Tammi Rae Heard and Amy Lynn Heard; as well as his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Jewel Barker; brothers, Robert Barker and Harmon Barker; and sisters, Nina Whitt, Fay Howard, and Betty Kelley. Ray was an Army Veteran, serving for 3 years in Germany in the 1950s and worked many different jobs throughout his working years, ultimately retiring as a construction worker. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Fox Run Senior Center and the Springfield VA Clinic for their excellent care, compassion, and kindness. The family is being served by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
