Ralph B. Rumbaugh

RUMBAUGH, Ralph B., 81 of Springfield, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 9, 2016. Ralph was born on June 21, 1935 in Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force and had a lifelong career in the car business. He leaves behind a loving wife, Lois Kirkham-Rumbaugh; a sister, Vivian Armitage of Pennsylvania; a son, Dean Rumbaugh (Michelle) of North Canfield; a daughter, Pamela Rumbaugh-Fisher (Larry) of South Vienna; a very special boy, Thomas "Boo" Bendall and a very dear friend, Frank Vetere. Also left behind are numerous friends and loved ones who shared in his last days; Bob Eicholtz, Kathy and Brad Bendall, Rhonda and Larry Brown, Mike Eicholtz, Pam Helton, Dean Qwinn, Clark Reed, Karen and Dave Anderson and Mike and Missi Kirkham. Special Thanks to Villa Springfield and Chaplain Keith Gebhart. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday in the funeral home with Chaplain Keith Gebhard officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
