Patty Jean Scurlock

Scurlock, Patty Jean, 91, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Kettering Medical Center. Patty was born October 11, 1932, the daughter of Elzie and Myrtie (Cloyd) McConnaughey. She graduated from Springfield High School and later retired from Community Hospital. Survivors include three children, Buddy (Sharon) Clark, Dale Clark and Scot (April) Clark; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Terry Sullivan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Scurlock; daughter, Mindy Smith; and two siblings, Betty Pearson and E.J. McConnaughey. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Rose Hill Burial Park. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
