Patrick H. Kennedy

KENNEDY, Patrick H., 68, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in Sycamore Medical Center, Miamisburg. He was born March 27, 1949 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of Harold and Mamie (D'Arienzo) Kennedy. Patrick was an educator for 30 years. He taught at Rolling Hills for 22 years, before retiring in 2002. Survivors include his wife, Susanne M. (Fryer); three children and spouses, Michael & Samantha Kennedy, Todd Kennedy and Kerri & Shawn Gruber; four grandchildren, Grady Gruber, Bryce Gruber, Grant Gruber and Audrey Kennedy; one sister, Linda Kennedy and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Craig Grammer officiating. His family will receive friends two hours prior from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
