Patricia J. Remley

Remley, Patricia J., 79, of Springfield, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015. She was born December 4, 1935 in Carrollton, Ohio the daughter of Glen D. and Laura E. (Pretty) Hoyt. She worked as a Director and Administrative Assistant for 32 years at Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority before retiring in 1996. She was a member of Springfield Church of Christ and a former board member at Elderly United and Project Woman. Survivors include her four children, Dan Cozad of Lakeview, Diane Cozad of Springfield, David Cozad of O'Fallon, Illinois and John Bain of Shakopee, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Martineau of Springfield and brother, Jerry (Teresa) Hoyt of Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald in 2012. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Bill Warax officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Springfield Church of Christ or the Alzheimer's Association.
