CARNEY-EVANS, Patricia A. (Glaser), 73, of Springfield, passed away March 19, 2015 in her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Springfield on May 12, 1941 the daughter of William and Patricia (Wilson) Glaser. She was a 1959 graduate from Catholic Central High School and a graduate of the Dayton Art Institute. She had worked numerous freelance jobs before becoming a mother, including calligraphy. She was a member of the Eagles #397 and Gold Wings Motorcycle Club. Survivors include her husband whom she met at Parents Without Partners in 1992, Jerry Evans; five children and spouses Gina & Darrell Jackson, Springfield, Jon & Jody Carney, formerly of Springfield, Tricia & Rich Griffin, Springfield, Rita & Joe Fincham, Springfield and Patrick Carney, Springfield; three step children, Terry Evans, Gary Evans and Theresa Mowen; 13 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; two siblings, William & Mary Rae Glaser, Jeanne & Melvin Blankenship; one brother-in-law, Dennis Carney and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Philip in 1988, her parents, grandparents and mother and father-in-law. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
