Perkins, Norma Jean, 87, of Springfield, passed away at 7:22 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Washington Court House, Ohio on October 26, 1929 the daughter of Joseph and Emma Thompson. She retired from McDonald's after 30 years of service. She was a very generous, loving provider to her family and loved by all that knew her. Survivors include her four children and spouses, Barry C. (Pamela) Perkins, Donald R. (Theresa) Perkins, Robin (Daryl) Sheeley and Cheryl (Donald) Payne; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Bear. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 1992, son, Chris in 1990, daughter, Crystal Rodgers in 2013, great grandson, Cameron Tuller in 2015 and six siblings. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday (today) in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
