Norma J. Zugelder

Zugelder, Norma J., 84, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2014 in her residence. Norma was born on May 24, 1929 in Springfield to William and Elva (Alexander) Cooke. She is survived by five children, Karl (Carol) Zugelder, Mary Jane Lower, William Zugelder, Richard Zugelder and Linda (Scott) Meek; eight grandchildren, Valarie, Steven, Julie, Tabitha, James, Michael, Chase and Denver; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 2008, and seven brothers. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME, with visitation beginning two hours prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
