Nicholas P. Turoff

TUROFF, Nicholas P., of Springfield, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 in his home. He was born April 9, 1926 in Springfield the son of George and Efigenia (Tsironka) Turoff. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church where he was involved in the men's club and was a United States Army veteran having served during WWII. Survivors include one brother, Michael Turoff, Athens, Greece and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Christopher Turoff, Rose Gorey-McMullen, John Turoff and Mary Volp. Visitation will be held on from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
