Nelma Faye Steen

Steen, Nelma Faye, 80, of South Charleston, passed away at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in Madison Senior Living, London. She was born in Carmel City, Kentucky on September 9, 1933 the daughter of Elmer and Elsie (Taulbee) Sebastian. She worked as a school secretary for 20 years. Survivors include her husband, Henry Lamar Steen; daughter, Debra (Daniel) Roach; son, Daniel (Jane) Steen; three grandchildren, Matthew and Jedd Steen and Savanna (Jesse) Myer; four great grandchildren, Morgan, Abbey, Logan and Aiden; three brothers, Harold (Betty) Sebastian, Elmer (Maryetta) Sebastian and Michael Sebastian; four sisters, Gloria (Raymond) Rodgers, Irene Sebastian, Nancy Haney and Vivian Parker and sister-in-law, Donna Sebastian. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, James Edward Sebastian, Delores Layne and Maureen Adelsberger. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jeff Smalley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
