Mona M. Snyder

SNYDER, Mona M. (Sodders), 90, of Springfield, passed forward on Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Springfield, OH. She was born September 18, 1926 in Springfield the daughter of Arthur and Bernice (DeWitt) Sodders. Mona graduated from Springfield Business College in 1945. She worked as secretary for the Chief of Police in Springfield for 32 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mona was a kind and gentle lady who never spoke any unkind words towards anyone. She leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, Cynthia Torsell, Tom (Vicki) Snyder and Denise (James) Huber; six grandchildren, Nicki (Don) Castle, Jason (Rhonda) Snyder, Courtney (Tony) Ehlinger, Carah Kramer (Joe), Jaime (Grant) Tripodi, Michael (Kit) Torsell; great grandchildren, Abby, Ethan, Thomas, Jude, Erik (Katie), Brittany, Gage and Jaydon; 2 brothers, Willard Sodders and Fred (Rowenia) Sodders, a special friend, Mike Peters and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 2003, 2 sisters, Evelyn Begy and Dolores Gaier. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
