Mildred L. (Knisley) Wright

WRIGHT, Mildred L. (Knisley), 93, of Springfield, died peacefully January 1, 2017 in the home of her loving granddaughter and caregiver, Julie Terry and her husband Keith. She was born January 8, 1923 in Washington Court House, Ohio the daughter of Elisha and Golda (Bryant) Knisley. Mildred was a 1941 graduate of Washington Court House High School and later worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base before marrying and devoting herself to her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family as well as creating a wonderful home. Survivors include three sons and spouses, Denny (Bonnie) Wright, Great Falls, MT, Phil (Carole) Wright, Washington Court House, OH and Kevin (Carlene) Wright, London, OH; six grandchildren, Erin Wright, Jodi (Aaron) Lopez, Jaci (Shane)Roberts, Joe (Janelle) Wright, Julie (Keith) Terry, Kari (Bryce) Garrett and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Everett Wright in 2010 and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held two hours prior from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery, Washington Court House.
