Michele I. Edington

Edington, Michele I., 59, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 in her home. Michele was born October 13, 1956 in Springfield, OH to James D. and Dorothy E. (Humphrey) Figgins. Survivors include two daughters, Darcy (Jeremy Turner) Edington and Megan (Brandon Johnson) Edington, both of Springfield; three step-daughters, Ammie (Bill) Spahr, Annette (Tim Jones) Webb and Angelina (Darrin Williams) Ward; 14 grandchildren, Nathan, Owen, Harper, Dax, Jennifer, Scott, Derek, Jordan, Paige, Logan, Matthew, Cassie, Will and Adam; 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Sally Chaffin; numerous nieces and nephews; and her significant other, Charles Edwards. In addition to her parents, Michele was preceded in death by her husband, Carlan L. Edington in 1995; three sisters, Teresa Michener, Barbara Hess and Mary Figgins; one brother, Joseph Figgins; and a step-daughter, April Ricketts. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
