Michael Leroy Caylor

CAYLOR, Michael Leroy, 72, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1946 in Seattle, Washington the son of Robert L. and Georgia E. (Hyme) Caylor. Michael worked as an assembler for Navistar for 31 years, was a US Navy veteran and a life member of VFW Post 1031. Survivors include his wife, Linda (Henson); daughter, Samantha Caylor; three grandchildren, Cassie Caylor and Michael and Bryan Freeze; three great grandchildren, Adalynn, Tanner and Michael; two brothers, Fr. Dennis J. Caylor and C. Douglas & Carole Caylor and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Margaret. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Fr. Dennis Caylor officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
