Melissa D. (Laws) Puckett

PUCKETT, Melissa Diane (Laws), born January 30, 1964, passed away on January 13, 2018. Melissa was married to Martin Puckett on July 11, 1991. She had two children Brianna Puckett and Matthew Puckett; father and mother in law, James and JoAnn Puckett; brother in law, Jason Puckett, that survive her. Melissa also had brothers and sisters that survive her: Margaret (sister) and Frank Wilson, Mitchell (brother) and Rachelle Laws, Michelle (sister) and Craig Ignatowitz, Robin (sister) and Tom Scurlock, Kate (sister) Zock, Ronnie (brother) and Charlotte Bishop, TJ (brother) and Gina Bishop and Robert (brother) Bishop. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marsha and father Robert Bishop, and Brien (brother) Bishop and Susie (sister) Laws and numerous aunts and uncles. Melissa has been a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church located here in Springfield and was a CCD instructor for that group. Her visitation will be on Tuesday, January 23 at 10:00 AM and the funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Springfield. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
