Matthew P. Hanks

HANKS, Matthew P., 44, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in his home. Matthew was born March 8, 1974 in Springfield, Ohio to Michael P. Hanks and Rebecca A. (Jenkins) Graff. He was a wonderful chef who loved to cook. In addition to his mother, survivors include his grandmother, Mildred Hanks; two brothers, Micah and Nathan Hanks; one aunt, Darla (Don) Jenkins; cousins, David (Sarah) Jenkins, Gabe, Michael and Valerie Jenkins, Amanda (Mike) Gahn and Laura Jenkins; and numerous other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather, Charlie Hanks. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday from 1 - 3 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
