Mary E. Richardson

Richardson, Mary E., 94, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Bluebird Retirement Community, London. Mary was born July 23, 1929 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley and Evelyn (Malahy) Jung. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul and Mercy Medical Center. Mary was also a member of the “Lunch Bunch” at the VFW Post 1031 in Springfield. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include two children, Linda (Ron) Krichbaum and Gary (Donna) Richardson; sister, Sue Reinhart; son-in-law, Bill Martin; daughter-in-law, Terri Richardson; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell, in 2010; and two children, Diana and Michael, both in 2017. Per Mary’s request, no services will be held at this time.
