Gordon, Mary May (Gillham), 92, of Springfield, passed away on December 7, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Springfield on September 5, 1921 the daughter of John W. and Mattie (Merritt) Latimer. She worked for Robbins and Meyers for over 30 years. She was an avid golfer, loved bowling and carried an average of close to 150. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, where she had served as president, enjoyed helping out counting potential winnings and had many friends. She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Mary K.) Gillham; stepson, Charles Gordon; grandchildren, Sharon Whitford, Susan Gillham, Kenneth "Kent" Gillham, James Gillham and Tamika (Gillham) Sherrick; great grandchildren, Kasey Whitford, Shane Whitford, Klay Gillham and Kristopher Gillham and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Gillham; second husband, Charles Gordon; son, Gary Lee Gillham; two brothers, Stanley and Samuel and three sisters, Marie Washburn, Virginia Glauner and Grace (Kaiser) Durig. Visitation will be held Tuesday (today) from 4-7 p.m. in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. David Glauner officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
