Mary Lou Russell

RUSSELL, Mary Lou, age 88, of Springfield, passed away on July 22, 2015. She was born on February 28, 1927 in Lehigh, North Dakota to Charles and Mary (Davidson) Westmark. Mary Lou was a member of Home City OES #258. She volunteered for many years at the Ohio Masonic Home, and was given the distinction of "Mother of the Year" in May 1994. She also enjoyed playing bingo, word search and sudoku. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack; her daughters, Jill Russell and Tracy (John) Lethcoe, Springfield; her son, Tim Russell, Lakeside, Arizona; four granddaughters, Lacy Brewer, Sonya Greene, Marie Lethcoe and Erika Lethcoe; one great granddaughter, Makayla and one great grandson, TJ; one sister, Alice Poling, Troy, Ohio and one brother, Donald Westmark of Bellevue, Washington, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and son Brion and daughter, Robin and daughter-in-law, Sandy Russell. The family would like the thank Community Mercy Hospice and Forest Glen for their support and care. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Friday in the Conroy Funeral Home with services by Home City OES #258 at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
