Mary Lou McGuff-Belt

McGuff-Belt, Mary Lou, 90, of Springfield, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 in Forest Glenn Nursing Home. She was born January 27, 1925 in Springfield, OH to William and Estelle (Reddy) Sweeney. Mary Lou worked as a Secretary for the Springfield City Schools for many years, and was a member of St. Teresa Church. Survivors include her husband, Eugene; four children, Patricia "Trish" (David) Ingalls, Mary Beth (Bob) Downing, David (Mary) McGuff and Julia DeLucia; five step-children; numerous grandchildren; and one brother, Jack (Dory) Sweeney. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas P. McGuff in 1974; one grandson, David Shawn Ingalls; three brothers, Pat, Tom and Jerry; and twin daughters, Kathryn and Margaret, in 1952. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Teresa Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Teresa Church or Catholic Central Schools.
