Mary L. Dillahunt

Dillahunt, Mary L., 74, of Springfield, died Friday, October 14, 2016 in her residence surrounded by her family. She was born January 29, 1942 in Springfield, OH to Thomas and Julia (Farrell) Lyons. Mary was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, the Springfield Country Club, she was a 1960 graduate of Catholic Central High School, and attended The Ohio State University. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, David L. Dillahunt; five children, Cheryl Koelsch, Springfield, Julie (Chris) Clevenger, Upper Arlington, OH, David M. (Lisa) Dillahunt, Hilliard, OH, Jay D. (Tomoko) Dillahunt, Columbus, OH and Amy L. (Dean Harrington) Dillahunt. Minneapolis, MN; eight grandchildren, Augusta, Scarlet, Wesley, Jordan, Olivia, Ansley, Kyle and Nina; two sisters, Joann Wright, Springfield, and Helen (Jim) Simonton, Powell, OH; two nephews, Chris and Patrick Simonton. Preceded in death by a sister, Katherine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in St. Teresa Church. A private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. Receiving of all friends will be held following the Mass at the Springfield Country Club. Memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice or St. Teresa Catholic Church.
