Mary June Boyer

Boyer, Mary June, 95, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018. Mary June was born August 25, 1922 in Springfield, OH to George and Kathryn (Taphorn) Degenhart. She was a member of St. Teresa Church. Survivors include four daughters, Janet Popa, Anne (Larry) O'Flynn, Mary (Jim) Hlay and Teresa (Kirk) Hoecker; six grandchildren, Nicholas (Susan) Popa, Jaclyn (Mark) Armstrong, Robert (Meghan) O'Flynn, Joseph (Larryn) Hlay, Edward Hoecker and Eric Hoecker; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 2007; brother, Earl Degenhart; sister, Pearl O'Neal, and twin sister, Mary Jean Conroy. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Teresa Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the church, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa Church or Hospice of Dayton.
