Mary Jo Sparrow

Sparrow, Mary Jo, 76, of Urbana, OH, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Vancrest of Urbana. She was born May 11, 1939 in Columbus, OH to Jerome and Mary (Smithberger) Kenney. She retired as an X-Ray Technician for Mercy Medical Center after several years. Survivors include one daughter, Theresa (Charles Newland, Jr.) Sparrow; three grandchildren, Megan, Taylor and Andrew Newland; three brothers, Dave (Kathy) Kenney, Bob (Barbara) Kenney and Dan Kenney; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin in 2012. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Deacon Dave Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the funeral home, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
