Donahue, Mary Jo, 86, of Springfield passed away February 12, 2013 at Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born April 10, 1926 in Logan, OH to Joseph M. and Josephine (Shaw) Brown. Mary Jo worked as a bookkeeper for Thomas Kappell, Inc. and later for the Springfield Arts Center for a number of years. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, and was also an active member of the Women's Association of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra (WASSO). Survivors include her daughter Peggy (Robert) Jordan of Springfield; four grandchildren, Jim (Jini) Jordan, Amy (Chad) Zajkowski, Joe (Karen) Jordan and Laura (Brian) Cardarelli; nine great grandchildren, Mason, Patrick, Ella, Alison, Jacob, Marcie, Isaac, Josie and Ethan; sister Karen (Gary) Hilton of Pickerington, OH; a brother Tom (Maryann) Brown of Sandusky, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband Patrick A. in 2002 and son Mike. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Odyssey Hospice and Forest Glen. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. Teresa Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
