Williams, Mary Jane, 71, of Springfield, passed away at 10:20 p.m. Sunday in Wood Glen Alzheimer's Community, Dayton in the arms of her loving husband. She was born January 21, 1947 in Springfield the daughter of Richard and Helen (Wilber) Linkhart. She was a 1965 graduate of Catholic Central High School. She worked for Dr. Dennis Roark and was a secretary at United Way. She was an advocate for Mesothelioma patients. Survivors, in addition to her mother of Springfield, include her husband, Loring L. "Butch" Williams; two children, Stephanie (Rob) Hughes of Lebanon and Travis Williams of Springfield; three grandchildren, Helena, Gia and Noah Hughes; sister, Kathy Cullen of Springfield; two brothers, James (Sandy) Linkhart of Springfield and Thomas (Marcia) Linkhart of Indianapolis, Indiana and many nieces and nephews. Her family was her life, especially her children and grandchildren. Her family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday in St. Raphael Catholic Church. A private inurnment will be held in Ferncliff Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
