Copenhaver, Mary Jane (Hard) Yeoman, 100, of Springfield, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Friday in Oakwood Village. She was born on November 17, 1917 in Washington Court House, Ohio the daughter of Laris and Sarah (Buckley) Hard. She was a hairdresser, a seamstress and enjoyed baking and was very active in her former church, Lagonda Avenue United Methodist. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James E. (Kathy) Yeoman; grandchildren, Wayde (Melissa) Yeoman, Barry Yeoman, Susan Cordova, Sherry (Gene) Graham and Cindy New; 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James I. Yeoman in 1989, second husband, Rudy Copenhaver in 2009, daughter, Patty New in 2016 and seven siblings, Herb, Harold, Chester and Bud Hard and Mabel Raleigh , Ruth Case and Dorothy Cesario. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Richard Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
