Hellmuth, Mary Beth, 59, of Springfield, died peacefully July 14, 2014 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana, OH. Possessing a heart resplendent with love and hands always ready to serve, Mary Beth was cherished, admired, and deeply loved by all those who knew her. She was born March 19, 1955 to Andrew Link and Mary Helen (Quinlan) Hellmuth. Mary Beth attended Glengarda School in Windsor, Ontario and later worked at TAC Industries for 39 years. She was an active member of St. Teresa Catholic Church and a longtime volunteer at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She took great pleasure in taking long walks, hooking rugs as gifts, and traveling around the world with her beloved family. Survivors include six siblings and spouses, Ann Hellmuth, Mary Lou (Tom) Loftis, Drew (Patty) Hellmuth and Kathie Hellmuth, Springfield, Robert (Linda) Hellmuth, Dublin, OH and John (Deb) Hellmuth, Naperville, IL; nieces and nephews, Michael (Lisa) Loftis, John (Molly) Loftis, Kevin (Jeanne) Loftis, Springfield, Deborah (Doug) Bosner, Upper Arlington, OH, Andy Hellmuth, Denver, CO, Emily (Sean) Noonan, San Francisco, CA, Melissa Hellmuth, Littleton, CO, Patrick (Alli) Hellmuth, Maple Grove, MN, Heather Hellmuth, Chicago, IL; great nieces and nephews, Audrey, Lauren and Paige Loftis, Cindy Lou, Lane and River Loftis, Olivia Filhart and Quinlan Bosner. She was preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Mary Helen Hellmuth, an uncle, Paul Hellmuth, three aunts, Mary Rita Hellmuth, Rosemary (Quinlan) Kelly and Sr. Ann Marie Quinlan, IHM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014 at St. Teresa Church with family receiving friends one hour prior, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. The family wishes to mention our sincere thanks to TAC Industries for their many years of providing Mary Beth with meaningful work in a safe, gratifying environment, and Mercy McAuley Center where Beth spent her last 1 ½ years among kind, forbearing and extremely capable nurses and staff.
