Mary Ann Dundon

DUNDON, Mary Ann, 79, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born September 1, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of William and Bernice Roth. Mary Ann worked at Olan Mills for nearly 40 years in the art department as a group leader. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, the Machinist Club and Union Club. Mary Ann was a true steel magnolia. Survivors include her husband, John F. Dundon; one daughter, Kathie & Jim Jewell, Springfield; two grandchildren, Corey & Crystal Jewell and Erica Jewell & fiancé Dustin Geisel; four great grandchildren, Gage, Gavin, Gracie and Rowan; one sister, Barbara Scaggs and dear friends and cousin, Robert & Barbara Decker. She was preceded in death by her son, John in 1997 and sister, Patricia Boswell. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
