Martha K. Shaw

SHAW, Martha K. "Marti", 57, of Marysville, loving mother, friend and soul mate, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 5, 2013 in Memorial Hospital of Union County. She was born June 30, 1956 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Robert E. and Margaret (Keppler) Bennett. Marti was in her element bicycling, backpacking, and exploring the world around her. She loved her family, nature and her birds. She will be remembered by all for her strength, honesty and compassion. She had worked as an assembly worker for Honda in Marysville for 12 years, retiring in 2013. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Jim Shaw, Marysville; one daughter, Shanna K. Shaw, Cleveland; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann & Dave Railsback and Margaret & Tom Glasscock and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, a son, James Robert and a brother, Robert Bennett. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME, Springfield.
