Martha (Marty) Light passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27th in Beavercreek, Ohio. Marty loved her family and is survived by her husband Clarence (Bud) of 46 years and four children: Ann (Brian) Reeves, David (Sana) Light, Jennifer (Dan) Whitman, Dan (Emerald) Light, and Eric (Amy) Laub, whom she considered a son. Marty has several grandchildren she cherished and were the center of her world: Elizabeth, Tyler, Allison, Drew, Becca, Alex, Lucas, and four great-grandchildren. She loved her family and is survived by her siblings Jeannie (Toddie), Peter (Chris), and Joseph (Cathy) with several beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Pat and Fanny Mullen, and siblings Toddie, Patrick, and Mary. Marty was a selfless, caring, and generous soul. She spent her career working in a field helping the less fortunate and was always there for those in need. She put everyone else above herself and focused all her energy on making those around her feel loved and accepted. She was always so full of energy and her affection towards everyone was infectious. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held privately for family at CONROY FUNERAL HOME at a later date with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. . In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Marty's name to the American Alzheimer's Association. Marty's Service will be live streamed here at 10:30 am on Wednesday. WATCH MARTY's FUNERAL
