Mark R. " Scoob " Grant

GRANT, Mark R. "Scoob", 52, of Springfield, passed away May 14, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born August 8, 1960 in Cincinnati the son of William and Vera (Risk) Grant. He worked as a pole builder and machinist for Rose City Manufacturing for 18 years. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Armilda (West), Springfield; three children, Samantha Grant, Amanda (Mark) Golden and Sheila Malone; two step-children, Amanda Smith and Kelly Scott Smith; four siblings, William (Cindy) Grant, John Grant, Elizabeth (Daryl) Cunningham and Cecelia Watson; 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Michael. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday in the Conroy Funeral Home, Springfield. Additional visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Monday in Newcomer Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, Cincinnati. Graveside services will be held at 2:15 p.m. on Monday in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
