Mark E. Power

POWER, Mark E., 58, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born March 12, 1957 in Springfield the son of Edward J. and Ruth (Kramer) Power. He was a member of the Union Club and worked many years as a car salesman in Springfield. Survivors in addition to his mother, include six siblings, Greg & Madalene Power, Mary & Dan Feucht, Kathie & David Demma, Chris & Dan Hilbert, Joseph Power and Peggy Power; longtime significant other, Janet "Jan" Tossey and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday in St. Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one half-hour prior in the church. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
