Mark A. "Pappy" Johnson

Johnson, Mark A. "Pappy", 57, of Springfield, died unexpectedly October 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1957 in Xenia, OH to Carroll and Odetta (Lewis) Johnson. He attended Southeastern High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors in addition to his father of Summerville, S.C. include three children, Christy Johnson-Noel, Trisha Johnson-Escalante, and Amanda (Brandon "Bo") Johnson-Ireland; six grandchildren; a sister, Lisa Johnson; three brothers, Rodney, Dana and Michael Johnson. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. November 5, 2014 in the Dayton National Cemetery. Following those services a celebration of Mark's life for family and friends will be gathering at 12794 Plattsburg , South Charleston, Ohio. All are welcome. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
