BRUSH, Mark Alan, 54, of Springfield, passed away April 1, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Mark fought hard but his body couldn't take any more. God got another Angel. He was born April 18, 1959 in Troy, Ohio the son of Robert J. and Lois J. (Gaston) Brush. Mark worked in maintenance for Clark State University for nine years retiring in 2013 and was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon. He was a devoted husband and father who loved acting, camping, fishing and antiquing with his wife and son. Survivors in addition to his mother, include the love of his life of 23 years, his wife, Laura (Mitchell); one son, Aiden; four siblings, Brian & Erin, David & Ana, Christopher Brush and Melissa & Greg Boden, all of Troy and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dwight McCormick officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Mark's name to the National Kidney Foundation.
