Marjorie Fogarty

Fogarty, Marjorie L., 92, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Marjorie was born in Springfield, OH to Raymond Fernung and Margaret (Voris) Jacobs. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and volunteered with the Fr. Bernard Guild. For over 45 years, Marjorie loved listening to books on tape for the blind, enjoying over 2,000 titles in her lifetime. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Davis; nieces, Linda (Scott) Pierron and Marti (Tim) Richey; nephews, Steve (Dicki) Fernung and Steve (Cheryl) Fogarty; numerous great nieces and nephews, including Courtney Pierron, Emily Richey and Connor Richey; and sister-in-law, Margaret Fogarty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. in 1991; step-father, Isaac Jacobs; and a brother, Robert Fernung. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
