Marjorie A. (Kelly) Horstman

Horstman, Marjorie A. (Kelly), 92, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born May 3, 1923 in Springfield, OH to Robert J. and Doris Mae (Houghton) Kelly. Marjorie was a loving wife, mother of seven, grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 25 and great great grandmother of one. She was a long time member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, the Catholic Ladies of Columbia #207 and Our Lady of Fatima Rosary Makers. She also taught CCD classes and Pre Cana classes, and was instrumental in bringing EWTN to Springfield. Survivors include six children, Kathleen (Donald) Lasica, Jim (Peg) Horstman, Eileen (Chuck) Bremer, Jeanne (Jim) Mulvaney, Allan Horstman and Marian (Dan) Wilt; and numerous nieces and nephews, special sisters-in-law and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, in 2004; one brother, Robert; and a son, Roger Lee in 1950. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. in St. Teresa Church, with visitation beginning two hours prior in the church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses who cared for Marjorie while she was in Springfield Regional Medical Center from December 8 to January 2.
