Marion (Forgeng) Buck

Buck, Marion (Forgeng), 86, went home to her Heavenly Father on November 23, 2016. She was at home surrounded by those who loved her most, her five children and husband. Marion was born in Scranton, PA. She was a nurse in Scranton and Princeton and later attended nurse anesthetist training at Mercy Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. There she met her soul mate and beloved husband of 61 years, Melvin Buck. They were blessed with five children Brian (Carolyn) Buck of Springfield, Pamela (Scott) Saxon of Jacksonville, Florida, Melissa (Tom) Catania of Oxford, Ohio, Dennis (Terri) Buck of Beverly Hills, Florida, and Mark Buck of Port Charlotte, Florida. Marion touched the lives of many people through her involvement at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Center. She had a special devotion to Mary, Mother of God. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St Joseph Church on Monday at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass in the church. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are being handled by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
