Connolly, A. Marie, 85, of Springfield, died at 11:34 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2013 in Villa Springfield. She was born in Castleberry, Alabama on May 13, 1928 the daughter of John Henry and Myrtice A. (Oliver) Warren, Sr. She retired from First National Bank/National City Bank after many years of service and later worked for the Clark County Treasurer's office for a number of years. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, where she served in many capacities, Red Star Lodge, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, SDWBA, Share Group for the Emmaus Walk, volunteered at the Heritage Center and attended monthly Methodist Youth Fellowship luncheons. Survivors include five step-children, John (Barb) Connolly, Joe Connolly all of Findlay, Mike (Nora) Connolly of Upper Sandusky, Patty Connolly of Cincinnati and Catherine Niederkohr of Carey; several grandchildren; brother, Alton "Buddy" (Janet) Warren of Florida; brother-in-law, Robert Swisshelm of Springfield; sister-in-law, Virginia Warren of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1994, sister, Alice Swisshelm, brother, John Warren and step-son, Jim Connolly. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with an SDWBA service at 6 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to High Street United Methodist Church.
