Marian E. Linkenhoker

LINKENHOKER, Marian E., 90, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016. She was born April 23, 1926 in Springfield the daughter of Dr. James and Elizabeth (Montgomery) Burgman. She retired from Wren's/Block's and Uhlman's Department Store after a number of years. Marian later worked at Rockway Elementary School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and enjoyed her Thursday night euchre group. Survivors include five children and spouses, David Linkenhoker, Kathleen & Bill Brennan, Margaret Linkenhoker, all of Springfield, Michael & Angie Linkenhoker, Florida and Laura & Chris Boyle, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, David Linkenhoker, Bobbi McClain, Michelle Baisden, Landon Boyle and Breigha Boyle; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Velma "Billie" Donnelley and former husband, William Linkenhoker. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 - 11:30am in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm on Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
