Margaret "Peg" McLaughlin

McLaughlin, Margaret "Peg", 89, of Springfield, died May 7, 2013 in Forest Glen Legacy. She was born March 19, 1924 in Springfield, OH to Walter E. and Margaret (Burns) Lacey. Peg was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, where she volunteered for many years, the St. Raphael Socializers, C.L. of C., and was a 1942 graduate of Catholic Central High School. Survivors include nine children and spouses, Marcia McLaughlin (Dean Morgan), Cincinnati, OH, Molly McLaughlin (John Melis), Tempe, AZ, Kevin (Kathleen) McLaughlin, Long Beach, CA, Jerome McLaughlin, Flagstaff, AZ, Brendan (Meg) McLaughlin, Lodi, WI, Terence (Carol) McLaughlin, Centerville, OH, Vincent McLaughlin, Springfield, Megan (Ritch) Newport, Hilliard, OH and Timothy (Gia) McLaughlin, Tempe, AZ; ten grandchildren, Claren, Brenna, Erin, Patrick, Brigid, Kyle, Kelly, Ryan, Monica and Dylan; a brother, Daniel W. Lacey, Springfield; and a sister in law, Betty Lacey, Cincinnati, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. in 2002, a sister, Anne Yirak and a brother, Edward Lacey. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Raphael Church.
